As history has shown the effects of war are both devastating and long lasting. The effects are still seen today as hostilities continue even after 50 years. Ware is usually created by authorities who are voracious for power and control that they utterly disregarded people live. World War I and II were the most deadly, catastrophic, and destructive conflict the world has ever seen and yet it is perpetually cultivates other atrocities between countries. The Korean and Vietnam Wars were the offspring of Second World War. As long as men have ambitions, weapons, and a desire for supremacy and jurisdiction, there will always be infinite variance among human kinds. One can observe and conclude that war doesn't benefit a nation but obliterate a country and salvage a population. Otherwise, one can ask 'Is Western Civilization destined to become dead or moribund?'

In 1945, the Second World War ended in a victory for the Allies. The Soviet Union and United States subsequently emerged as the world's superpowers, setting the stage for the Cold War, which lasted for the next 45 years. The Cold War was the continuing state of conflict, tension, and competition that existed after World War II. On one side were the Soviet Union and its satellites and on the other were the powers of Western world
